Oil coolers are found on many different types of engines and are manufactured in several different ways, but they all have the same job: trying to cool oil, whether engine, hydraulic or transmission

A vehicle oil cooler can get damaged or just suffer from old age and start leaking oil. If your vehicle is leaking oil, you run the risk of damaging your engine and needing an expensive repair job - so don’t put off replacing your oil cooler, get a new one or get it repaired

The heater matrix is a small radiator inside the vehicle that heats up the interior. If your heater matrix is choked up, you won’t get as much heat into the car as you should

Heaters, like car radiators, can choke up due to build up of deposits or dirt in the cooling system

If the heater is too badly blocked, we can replace the core with a high-performance equivalent

We also supply heater matrix for most makes and model of vehicle

As with radiators, we can repair, re-core or recondition more difficult to obtain heaters

The condenser radiator keeps you cool in the summer

Generally in a front-mounted position, it is susceptible to stone and collision damage which means the gas in the air conditioning system escapes and the a/c system stops working

Due to high operating pressure, condensers are often not repairable, but we can supply new units or remanufacture most units

Intercoolers are fitted to most modern diesel and performance engines and come in many different shapes and sizes. 

A leaking intercooler will affect your engine’s performance and fuel economy.

We are experts when it comes to fuel tank repairs - we can repair plastic, steel or aluminium tanks

All fuel tanks need chemical cleaning internally and externally to remove any trace of flammable fuel before repair work can begin

Small leaks and holes can be repaired by solder or welding

Larger damage or leaks may require a new section of material welding to the tank

Should the tank be too badly corroded or rusty, we can restore it with our Fuel Tank RENU system

Fuel tanks usually suffer from a lot of wear and tear, and can end up punctured or scraped, which will often lead to corrosion and rust

The first thing people think of is to just replace it, but there is a more cost-effective and envirnmentally friendly way to deal with these damaged fuel tanks

Fuel Tank RENU is a method in which old and corroded fuel tanks are cleaned and plastic coated

The process used is a unique one that uses chemical bonding, and is both proven and patented, and can often be cheaper and faster than simply purchasing a new fuel tank. It coats both the inside and the outside of the tank, with a double layer of protection which is incredibly tough and durable

This chemical bonding seals your tank from rust and corrosion

The Fuel Tank RENU process is compatible with water, diesel, petrol, methanol, alcohol and high octane. It has been well tested, and is a safe process to use

If you have a tank that is old and hard to find, this is certainly a solution you should consider. Save time by not trying to source a new one - once treated, yours will  be in a better condition anyway

FUEL TANK RENU: THE PROCESS

The tank is de-fumed before it is blasted back to bare metal, inside and out (holes will be cut to gain access)

A liquid plastic is applied to the inside and outside of the tank and is then cured in an industrial oven, resulting in a steel tank that is protected both inside and out with a durable plastic coating

(Please note the tank will have a rubberised appearance)

For vintage and other painted tanks, internal Fuel Tank RENU only can be specified

We can repair most car and commercial sumps either by soldering or welding

If the sump is too badly corroded, we offer the RENU system (see explanation above)

Aluminium air conditioning pipes can deteriorate and get holes and splits in them, usually due to vibration from the vehicle causing pipes to rub against something and wearing a hole in them 

This  damage often occurs where the pipes are clamped to the car, making detection of splits and cracks difficult without using a leak detecting dye on the system

Replacement air conditioning pipes can be expensive - why not see if we can repair it?

Often a weld repair will return the damaged section back to an ‘as new’ state

Not all pipes can be repaired, but we’re happy to have a go at any pipe, although generally, if there is a lot of pitting/corrosion along the length of the pipe, then it’s for the bin, as welding up one hole usually leads to another appearing somewhere else when the pipe is pressurised

Please note that we can only repair the aluminium sections of pipes and cannot fix rubber sections

Pipes will also need removing from the car before delivery to us!
